Description:
Skyhawks cheerleading teaches young athletes all the essential skills to lead the crowd and support the home team. Designed for children ages 6-12, this entry level cheer program will ensure that each camper will learn cheers, proper hand and body movements as well as jumping techniques. There is no stunting, just a big focus on fun while each cheerleader learns important life skills such as teambuilding and leadership. The week concludes with a choregraphed performance adn when available, a chance to cheer at a Skyhawks football or basketball tournment!

Ability:

The Intermediate ability level is a comprehensive camp that focuses on developing a young player by refining his or her skills. These camps are taught through fast-paced drills, skill-building exercises, and game-speed scrimmages in a more competitive environment. Emphasis is placed on mastering the rules and etiquette. The player needs to have a basic understanding of the game and its skills. Previous participation in a Skyhawks Sports Introductory camp, Develop camp, or playing in a league or club should suffice.

Included With Purchase:

T-shirt, Pom-Poms and merit award.

Testimonials:

Millie had a lot of fun in cheerleading, though she was a little reluctant to go at first. She loved her coach, practiced all the time, and learned a lot. She has already invited her best friend to go with her next year.
