Description:
Skyhawks flag football is the perfect program for your young athletes who want a complete introduction to America's Game or for those who simply want to brush up on their skills in preparation for league play. Through our 'skill of the day' campers will learn skills on both sides of the ball including the core componets of passing, catching, and de-flagging or defensive positioning -all presented in a fun & positive environment. Recommended for intermediate athletes ages 6-12. The week ends with the Skyhawks Sports Bowl, giving participants a chance to showcase their skills on the gridiron!

Ability:

The Intermediate ability level is a comprehensive camp that focuses on developing a young player by refining his or her skills. These camps are taught through fast-paced drills, skill-building exercises, and game-speed scrimmages in a more competitive environment. Emphasis is placed on mastering the rules and etiquette. The player needs to have a basic understanding of the game and its skills. Previous participation in a Skyhawks Sports Introductory camp, Develop camp, playing in a league or club should suffice.

Included With Purchase:

T-shirt and merit award.

Testimonials:

The coaching for the Flag football was great. Every Skyhawks camp here that my sons have gone to over the last few years has been excellent. I cannot say enough good things about the coaches.

Sammy's experience was so fun, as it was his first chance to get involved with Football techniques of any kind. The coaches were honestly specialized for the Football sport and training techniques. The final glory was getting to be independent for a full week of camp (as an 8-year-old) and to attend with two really good friends. Thank you for a great [experience].
