Description:
This multi-sport program was developed to give children ages 6 to 12 a positive first step into athletics. The essentials of baseball, basketball and soccer are taught in a safe, structured environment with lots of encouragement and a big focus on fun. Our Mini-Hawk games and activities were designed to allow campers to explore balance, movement, hand/eye coordination, and skill development at their own pace. Skyhawks staff are trained to handle the specific needs of young athletes.
Ability:
The Intermediate ability level is a comprehensive camp that focuses on developing a young player by refining his or her skills.
These camps are taught through fast-paced drills, skill-building exercises, and game-speed scrimmages in a more competitive environment.
Emphasis is placed on mastering the rules and etiquette. The player needs to have a basic understanding of the game and its skills.
Previous participation in a Skyhawks Sports Introductory camp, Develop camp, or playing in a league or club should suffice.
Included With Purchase:
T-shirt and merit award. New For 2009.

Testimonials:
The coaches were well organized and enthusiastic. There seemed to be equal time spent on all three sports (I did not know baseball
was going to be one of the sports included but was happy, as was my son, who loves all sports). The coaches made sure all kids checked
in and out of the gates. They were energetic and encouraging to all of the kids and seemed able to handle everyone, even those who were
a little less focused and distracted. It was a good experience this week.
